ASHEVILLE, NC (October 30, 2020) -- Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, the national organization dedicated to the health and growth of specialty independent retail, is inviting specialty outdoor vendors and independent outdoor retailers to participate in ConnectHub, a free shared-resource platform.
Providing an open and accessible platform, Grassroots ConnectHub brings together retailers and vendor brands by hosting essential sales tools and best practices in a single structured location. Grassroots ConnectHub is open to all Grassroots Outdoor Alliance members as well as approved vendors and retailers from the outdoor industry.
“ConnectHub started last spring as a way to help the outdoor community overcome the initial challenges of remote buying. Because of its simplicity and efficiency, however, it’s been embraced by both retailers and vendors as a long-term tool that will support digital sales cycles and also be integrated into the future of physical events for Grassroots,” said Gabe Maier, vice-president of Grassroots Outdoor Alliance.
Password protected and accessible only by verified retailers, Grassroots ConnectHub collects individual vendor brand summaries which include information such as primary contact information, available brand categories, overviews of sell-in processes, key deadlines, product and brand images, workbook assets, line review videos, price lists, MAP policies and order forms.
Grassroots ConnectHub will also provide direct access to the NuORDER digital buying platform, a new and unique retailer-friendly buying tool used by Grassroots Outdoor Alliance retail members to organize, understand and maximize their entire buy holistically across all participating vendors.
