4th Annual Trail Creek Bike Race- Elephant’s Perch

Description: Test yourself on a 10.4 mile course rising 850 vertical feet up Trail Creek Summit. The course starts just east of Ketchum on Sun Valley/Trail Creek Road at the intersection of Coral Creek. Put your strength and endurance to the ultimate test by adding the 2 extra miles of dirt climbing to the top of Trail Creek Summit.

Paddlefest- Wild River Outfitters

The Boulder Mountain Bicycle Tour- Elephant’s Perch

Description: Meet in Ketchum at Ketchum Town Square (across from Atkinson’s) at 10:00am for those riding the road up and at 9:00am at the SNRA for everyone riding the Harriman Trail. This fun tour will have aid stations, sag wagons and shuttles back to town if needed. Everyone will end up at Galena Lodge where there will be an afternoon of live music with Bruce Innes and the Middle Income House Band from Boise, discounted food and beverage, fun prize drawings and more. Aspen Mountain Hill Climb- Ute Mountaineer

Description: The Aspen Mountain Hill Climb, a race for runners and bikers, has been rescheduled for Sunday. Now in its 14th year, the race begins at 8 a.m. at the base of Aspen Mountain, just above the Silver Queen Gondola patio on the Summer Road. The 4.5-mile course follows the Summer Road to the top of Aspen Mountain and finishes at the Sundeck, a 3,400-foot elevation gain. Aid stations will be located at Gwyn’s Restaurant, Bonnie’s Restaurant and at the finish line at the top of the mountain. The hill climb is the second event of the annual Aspen Summer Race Series, which benefits the Aspen High School crosscountry running program.

This weekend in Ketchum, Idaho Grassroots Member The Elephant’s Perch is hosting the SAWTOOTH CENTURY BIKE TOUR AND RACE.
The Sawtooth Century is a 50 or 100 mile fully supported bicycle tour featuring the world-class riding terrain, dramatic visual imagery and signature style of Sun Valley and the Sawtooth Mountains. Riders will set off from the start/finish area 6 miles north of Ketchum and crest Galena Summit en route to the turnaround at Alturas Lake.
