This shoe is the best of both worlds! It has aggressive treads, rubber toe bumper, and Salomon’s distinct speed lacing system. The improvement over past models is that the Speed Cross has a more plush, cushioned feel…while at the same time it is distinctly lighter.
I have 8 different models of of trail running shoes in my closet, but this is the one I will be trail racing in 2008-2009.
