Horny Toad Announces Winners of Merchandising Contest

Horny Toad Clothing is pleased to announce the winners of its merchandizing contest, held in partnership with the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance (GOA). Winners are being sent on an all-expense paid trip to Portland, Oregon where they will spend two days at the Lizard Lounge studying merchandizing with expert, Kelsie Morrow.

The contest was born from Horny Toad’s commitment to specialty retail and to helping its partners stay competitive in a retail landscape that constantly redefines itself. The Lizard Lounge in Portland is Horny Toad’s own retail lab where they explore fresh ways to merchandize and blend their product offerings with community involvement. Kelsie’s guidance has been instrumental in making the Lizard Lounge a merchandizing success story, and she is, without question, a great resource on merchandizing wisdom.

There were many impressive entries making the final choice difficult for our panel of judges, but those belonging to Josh Legg at Rock/Creek, Sarah Merrell at Diamond Brand Outdoors and Alisa Doris of The Outdoor Source were selected as the winners based on their exceptional passion for visual merchandizing and strong desire to develop their expertise as visual merchandisers.
